  • Right you are. Never really got to love the DG-500-22 in our club; others love it. I prefer the smaller and nimble Discus or LS4. The fact that the DG do loops indicate that it may be a DG-500-18, the only one allowed doing aerobatics (+7/-5G).

  • The Motorfalke can hardly be called "High tech". Nor the DG500 although this one's got a propeller (motors for sissys). The latter is gliding OK (sink rate 1:51) but I think it's sluggish and unresponsive to fly.

    Need to have it stall into a curve, to catch the small wimps that we Danes call thermal up drift. For that I prefer shorter wings.
