@adamup2n2 ok, but you can't stop the future,only influence it. John Muir wanted to protect nature, yet he encouraged everyone to go experience it. i think this is the best approach. i also posted a youtube video from Tar creek. i will be out there again this year. I hope we can get along. i will be practicing "leave no trace", telling others i see to do so, and cleaning up any crap i find left behind...oh ya... and beating the shit out of anyone i saw spray painting... the paint is the worst.

@Earthculturemusic It's the posting of videos for millions to see with detailed directions that really bothers me.My goal is not to keep people out but to help keep the place nice.To the locals like myself we have seen a major increase in the amount of people and effects of people on the land itself over the past couple years,more than likely due to the internet and videos such as this one here.Word of mouth is fine but youtube is a bit too much.

@adamup2n2 seriously... you think Tar creek is YOUR backyard! it is beautiful, but it ain't yours! its for everyone, including dumb asses, how will they ever learn to love nature if you want to keep everyone out. LAS is good about promoting good ethics in thier videos(like packing out all trash etc...) so shut up!
