GoPro Hero2 Crabs eye view incoming tide.

Testing the GoPro Hero2 in the sea. I need to find a way of holding the camera securely to the sand and be-able to attach a strong enough tether to retrieve it if needs be.
Don't try this with a regular camera, wrapping in a bag or condom won't do the trick as it is lightly to break and wreck the camera.

You put a pole very deep into the stand with a standard tripod mount screw protruding from the pole... attach your tripod adapter along with your J-mount close to the bottom near the sand and bam... there you go

@munch112000 I'm working on it :) I want to get a day where the sea isn't a murky brown and leave the camera for a couple of hours and get the best edits from it.
