This video shows the PIXHAWK Cheetah Quadrotor platform (http://pixhawk.ethz.ch) flying completely autonomously, without any video link, based on computer vision. All processing is done onboard. The video was captured in a demo slot at the IMAV 2010 competition location and shows the indoor dynamics demo.
now if you could just install a high sensitivity INS, then you wouldn't need the grid for it to find its way. Awesome demo though
