Plot:
Final Fantasy Versus XIII revolves around a prince named Noctis Lucis Caelum, who is the last heir to an unnamed kingdom in which the last Crystal is kept. Because of increasingly apparent modernization in contrast to neighboring nations, Noctis' kingdom has isolated itself from the outside world. The game is set as two nations battle each other for dominance and for the last Crystal held by Noctis' kingdom. The game has been said to initiate at the "clearing" of a long Cold War between warring nations that revolved around these crystals.

@DJFatal555 Also, note that this game is going to be fucking huge. Nomura said that the whole game is open world with SE's next-genlighting engine with near photo-realistic graphics. From that alone, the game will be around 20 gb in size. Don't forget that there's going to be lots of CGI in the game, making the file size close to 70 GB.

@DJFatal555 The purpose of this game is to revive the final fantasy series. Money is important, but it is secondary. Nomura is a PS3 fan boy and he's threatening to leave SE if the game becomes multiplat.

Also, the majority of the final fantasy 13 sales were from the PS3 users. So in number terms: Would you get $100 and destroy the final fantasy name even further and get less profits in future games, or get $80, revive the FF series and get more money in future games?

@GuillermoLozano96 This trailer was released in 2008 since then when FF13 was released onto the Xbox they had Gained extra 3 million copies sold on the xbox version thus gaining more money and so most likely to be released on both but also its like saying this what would you rather have $10 or a $100 obviously $100

@kingratchet93 I suggest you read the Final Fantasy Versus XIII wiki to learn real info about the game, also please look up "fabula nova crystallis" so you can find out why versus has the XIII in it's name. Google is your friend, use it....

@KeybladeXIIIMaster Wrong. Versus doesn't have anything to do with FF13/13-2 and Lightning. I really suggest you read the Final Fantasy Versus XIII wiki to learn real info about the game because you are very misinformed. I also suggest you look up "fabula nova crystallis" to learn more about Versus' mythology

@kingratchet93 I think it does have something to do with XIII. I think it might wrap up the storyline with lightning, tbh I think this "kingdom" is what happened after the events of ff XIII-2. in any case, versus looks great, and noctis is supposed to have the most unique fighting style and personality of all the protagonist before him
