  • please can u help me once again :D ?

what kind of tube is the thin clear tube that brings the pressurized air to the nozzle??

i see it's very small and it works with so high pressure... is it pvc??

    thanks

  • It's just regular clear thin tubing you will find in a hardware store. It is often used for fish tanks and the like. The small diameter is what allows it to hold the pressure. I believe the outside diameter is about 5 or 6mm and walls are at least 1mm thick.

  • hi,can you help me please?i would like to build a similar system for my water rockets launcher... i see the gardena is Attacked to the white pipe.. have i to glue it?because i think it cuold lose pressure..

    thank you

  • We glued a small ring to the white pipe and the gardena nozzle is just screwed in place with a capture nut. This way we can disassemble it if we need to. The air supply to the gardena nozzle is through a thin clear tube seen at left entering the white pipe. This thin tube goes to an aluminium adapter inside the white pipe and the adapter is glued into the gardena fitting with epoxy. The white pipe is not pressurised.

  • Interesting... Did you make the fligth system yourself? If not where did you buy it?

  • Yes we make them ourselves. The full details of the flight computer can be found at: w w w dot AirCommandRockets dot com. Unfortunately not for sale yet. We are still in the process of evolving it. But all the plans are there if you want to make them yourself.

  • Haven't tried it out yet, but my current launcher uses regular garden hose. It was $5 NZD for a 20m roll. It has a 1.5mm rubber tube surrounded by a 1mm fibre reinforced plastic. The ID is about 12mm.

AirCommand- Do you have a non return inline? I got water and colour in my line last time... And what did you use for the non return?

  • How does the staging mechanism works?

  • thanks...

i hope i will be able to build big water rockets like yours..

if you are interested in watching my water rockets u have to search for "D.D. ROCKETS "

P.S.:i'm sorry for my english,i'm italian and it could be wrong :D
