I went and did it! I went and bought a genuine Gibson Les Paul! The Guitar Center, or Gibson, or maybe both musta gone crazy or something! They had these faded tops, color scheme guitars (kind of a new line, maybe wasn't moving real good(?)), marked down to $799! I ain't even kidding! A real Gibson Les Paul, under a thousand dollars, unheard of! I saw in their brochure that even their Epiphone Les Pauls are marked down, some at half price. But for the regular price of an Epiphone Les Paul, or about the same regular price for an American made Fender Stratocastor, you can buy a Gibson Les Paul; you buy the Gibson Les Paul! I'm just saying... So I did! And this video is the unboxing, er, uncasing, it came with it's own hardcase, no BS! Go to your local Guitar Center today, and get one yourself! It's real sweet! Well, watch the video!

Peace,

  • Good words at the start of the vid

  • @chrissept21 thank you! I hope that you will have the chance to work toward a similar dream and have something for yourself that means something.

  • This guitar always was $799, it wasn't marked down they just show you the MSRP to make you think you're getting a deal

  • @Kreason95 yea, you may be right! Ever since I bought mine, seems like that's been the price, LOL! I can't say for sure what they were going for before the sale, but I had been watching to grade or two up from the Studio model. And those Standard and Custom editions go for $1300 and up! Many for $2500+! Heck even the Studio goes for $1300 if you buy the gloss finish! Sooo, I'm saying this is a pretty good deal, at least to get in on the lower range of genuine Gibson guitars! Peace!

  • @rockthistown17 thanks man! That is a nice thing to say. If you enjoyed this one, please check-out some of my other videos. I suspect that some of them are even better than this one, LOL! Thanks again for the nice comment! Be well.

  • I just bought myself a worn cherry....but no hard shell...;(

  • @Awwa1 Yeah it's because they cut back on a lot of extras, the Studio Faded LP doesnt have binding, it has cheaper inlays and pickups, they are great guitars nonetheless and it is a great deal, I hope you enjoy the Gibson guitar journey, I haven't quite bought my gibson yet as I'm 16 and I don't have the $1,399 plus 10% tax it takes to get my dream guitar, but when I get it I will be so happy, I've played many Gibsons on my path and they are fantastic guitars

  • @stabandhack1 hey, I never claimed to play it well, nor in a traditional manner. But I do play it "differently" than most anyone else you'll ever see. Check-out a few of my other videos. You might be surprized by a few of them. And hey, I support "playing!" Without a little "play" in your life, what is there worth living for? Well that's part of why I do what I do. For the fun of it! Lighten up a little and maybe you will see, er or hear what I mean. Later dude!

    Peace,

  • @rockthistown17 Actually, I think a 5 year old can play the way he does. No disrespect, but I think he needs to invest in some lessons or look up Marty Schwartz.

  • Sweet guitar, playing, and vid.

  • You just cant mistake that Gibson sound , made in the USA killer tone!
