Soul Video - Marco Torrisi, Rosa Carletta - The House of the Rising Sun

"The House of the Rising Sun" is a great American folk song but its authorship is unknown. The most successful commercial version was recorded by the English rock group "The Animals" in 1964. Many other artists sung this beautiful tune: Bob Dylan, Nina Simone, Muse. The blues version we recorded takes inspiration from the Australian guitar master Tommy Emmanuel known for his fingerpicking style. Voice: Rosa Carletta. Music: Marco Torrisi (the guitar is a Takamine tan 46c). Filming and editing Giuliano Tuttolomondo (the camera is a Canon XM2 and it is edited in Final Cut Pro). Produced by soul video.
