This track NEEDS a dubstep update! It would be so well suited to it!

Er.. No. My tape version does fade out at the end so I still think that the disk version is bugged, not the tape version... Best ask Steve Rowlands which is right...

I remember reading that most of the Steve Rowloands tunes where actually "covers" of the music he used to dance in the clubs. Does anyone know where he took the tunes from? I know it's not a legend, as I listened to the Creatures' shop tune on TV twice (in a documentary) and to the Retrograde's second boss at the beach some years ago (I guess the tunes are from the late 80s - early 90s). Thanks for the help!

@toxicgte I own the original tape too, and I though there was a bug in the HVSC version (disk rip); I talked about this issue with the HVSC crew, and I think the tape version of the tune is bugged. When the sound suddenly stops, the volume register is involved, and the tape version doesnt' recognize the tweak properly: to check this, listen to the tune until the end, and you'll notice that the tape version doesn't fade (and the fading out effect is, again, done by tweaking the volume register)..

Great game, and loading tune. Even better was the IHATEBROS cheat that made your guy indestructible:)

Yes, the SID players don't play this tune properly if it's taken from the disc version, but i managed to rip the cassette version which works perfectly on the SID players. Top tune, good for a mobile ring tone...

There's something magical about Apex Computer Productions.
They managed to make games for the humble c64 that quite simply should not have been possible.
Colourful, beautifully drawn graphics. Amazing music (always with very distinct, heavy basslines).
And then the gameplay. Always a pleasure to play an ACP game.
Respect to John & Steve Rowlands.

I used to load the game just to hear this tune, then rewind the tape and load it again, and again, and again..... ;)
Love this song, fantastic stuff, doesn't play properly on any of the SID players though :(
I remember playing this game for ages, finally beat it and it crashed on the end sequence, never got to see it!

@qube123: I find the SID players to be disappointing for the most part. If you're familiar with the originals, you can hear the disparities a mile off. Always go for the real deal when you can! ;)
