I am making organic carrot baby food and I found a easier way to do it. Thanks CandidMommy for the donor milk! Sawyer loved his dinner!

  • Great tip!

I love it... I swear by home made baby food! Lucky Sawyer!

    My milk... Lol

  • @CandidMommy Thanks for showing me how. I have learned more about parenting from you than anyone else : )

  • way to go mamma; making sawyer's baby food! I did the same for my daughter! I loved knowing there wasn't all that added stuff in her food and I knew she was eating healthy!

  • @xalexandchrisx

I completely agree! Sawyer is a healthy little guy because of it!

  • You got the breast milk from another mother? Wow that's cool and and nice of her to donate. Most moms I know wouldn't donate or use another woman's milk for their child but, I think that is way cool of both of you to do. :)

  • What a great idea using breastmilk!

  • great vid!

  • Question...is the ice cube tray BPA free?? I want to do this for my baby using breast milk and putting the frozen cubes in a mesh teether, but i'm afraid of the BPA.

  • Great idea!

  • Awesome tip - using the zip lock bags! I use them to pipe cupcakes, but never thought of this! Oh and you know you can use the boiled water from the bottom of the steamer to mix the vegies? It'll be good to get him used to the taste of the vegies without relying on the BM taste, and save your BM stores for feeding! (OH! and all the nutrients that is steamed out of the vegies falls back into the water (if there is a lid on, so you're then just adding them back in that way!) Just a thought :)

  • i'm a pretty unconfident person in general, so i know it sounds silly when i say i'm still scared to make organic baby food in bulk. my LO still eats very little solids so i make only a portion good for a couple days at a time. but i imagine i would need to do something like this when she starts demanding more or else i'd just be blending stuff all day!

  • Making your own baby food is awesome! Good job mama!

  • Great tips, thank you so much for sharing! :)
