@kmaur21 you must be retarded

That note is a D6 and she goes higher at the end, Cissy can go as high as B6 in head voice alone and she can belt a D6 in mix.
-
thank you...I 've always wanted to know what note she sang behind Aretha on
the song "ain' no way". now I know...a c#6.

I definitely hear WHITNEY!!! My God this is her mother!!!

@TruthSerum101 That's a very good way to put it. Most people don't look at it that way. I guess it's cos a lot of people feel that talented singers like Cissy should have had the success that their "forefront peers" had because of their talent.
But I agree with your statement, though.

@Chimier Grammy winning Cissy Houston has received the type of praise that most singers only dream of - especially session singers. A lot of people don't realize how rare it is to succeed in the music industry. There are not enough slots for all the talent. Underrated is so overused - it's the first adjective that many reach for. Ironically, it's often an insult to the accomplishments of many professionals who have already beaten insurmountable odds.
-
@TruthSerum101 I think he means that she doesn't get much credit or praise for her singing ability by the industry.
-
@mellynumerounoo Cissy was Aretha's Back up singer, they are good friends cause Aretha is Whitney's Godmother.
-
