I shot this footage in Pattaya, Thailand while training there in 2001. Changpuek Kiatsongrit is one of the most famous Muay Thai fighters in all of Thailand. He has actually broken opponents legs in fights with his kicks. Paul and I use to play him on the K1 video game(Japan Version) on Play Station, and it was a dream come true to train in Thailand along side him years later.

  • The word LEGEND comes to mind!! DEVIL LEFT KICK!!! This guy,(Middleweight)was taking on the Giants of K1 in the early days and more than holding his own, despite his usual massive weight disadvantage. He is a true testament to the effectivness of muay thai!! Watch his fight with Rick Roufus to see what i mean. Anyway- enough said go watch his fights against Kaman, Wiet, Hoost, Andy Hug, Rick Roufus. P.s. He is also the guy in the tkd vs muay thai video vs (shin ushkoshi)- LOl poor guy!!

  • Not the most technical Muay Thai fighter, but had a wicked kick! One of the hardest in the sport. He, Samkor, and Apidet were known for their wicked kicks.

  • he is looping/pushing his punches his kicks look good though

  • ahahahahahahaaha... right now Sithpolek is the worst gym in Pattaya... Very very dirty, the trainers are lazy and don't teach you nothing, unless you give them extra money... you have to pay 270 ( more then 6 dollars ) Bath per day... FOR WHAT ???

  • a true muay thai warrior. a 75kg fighter who was only happy to fight the 95kg heavyweights.

  • Does somebody know where you can get a muay tai short like that, because the normal new muay thai shorts are a little bit tough and this one seems soft and ajusting to the dudes body, mines are all staying in there own form so they don't ajust to my waist and there creeping up to my bellybutton above my waist?????????????? if you know send me a private message

  • changpuek stronger for ever !!!!!!!! champion !!!!
