thanks for the answer. how about the pedals, they sound a lot better with the custom 50, or they sound similar with both amps?
last thing...if i buy an higain combo, do you think its better to change the speakers, maybe with original fane?

They sound great with pedals --- the Celestions in the HiGain sound great in their own right -- check em out first :)

i've seen you had a higain 2x12. there are many differences with your new custom 50 2x12 (about the clean channel of higain)?
or they are very similar?

Yes the UK version of the HiGain 50 and the Custom 50 sound and behave very similar. The differences in power and sound are due to the Custom 50 being point to point wired, the Partridge transformers, the Fane Speakers, and the ability link/blend the normal/bright channels. Both are beautiful amps that i would rate 9/10 and 10/10
