physiologically, with falsetto, what happens is the cords are apart and a lot of air escapes through this gap in the middle of the cords and reaching higher notes then requires more air(the opposite of pure head voice). In pure head voice, there is cord closure, they vibrate together not apart, the higher notes actually require less air due to more closure and a smaller opening, which allows for greater control and resonance without sounding breathy.

the horn player did a very good job!!

I can sing like him,

:O The guy at 1:43 is so cute!
-
I love this guy's intensity .. if i were Tolomeo, I'd consider myself firmly put in my place! It's a shame the orchestra is going too bloody slowly!! .. for me to notice, it's got to be pretty obvious.

I had the speakers turned up too loud.....then they went silent....i think this dude just destroyed my speakers.
-
I also want to know how to sing like this!

@aidanivesdavis I would rather call it "taunting". This is not a bravura aria where Caesar displays his power. He shows his disdain and contempt for Ptolemy, more than he threatens him. See Andreas Scholl's performance in the Copenhague production for a perfect example.
