The MLK Jr. weekend and awards season make for a potent mix at the box office! Host Grace Randolph tells you how My Bloody Valentine 3D, Paul Blart Mall Cop, Notorious, Hotel For Dogs, Gran Torino, and Defiance are all doing at the box office! She also gives her review of Slumdog Millionaire.

  • "3-d is relatively new to audiences"

ummm, 3-d movies was a cheap gimmick that worked to get people to the theatres in the early 50's

  • 3D is no longer a "gimmick", so it's new in that sense. These new 3D movies from Hollywood are being presented as genuine wide releases - that's the change that's happening here.

  • Great show, Grace!

    Ignore that jackass Shipgate.

  • Hi scriptgirl! What an honor to hear from you - and that you enjoyed Movie Math!

    Your show is awesome. :)
