New Divide: A Jonas Brothers Love Story Chapter 34

Joe's POV

"You were right, you two can't cook." I said as we walked out of the kitchen. The girls tried to cook us lunch, which was really sweet of them, but they aren't the best cooks ever. "Hey! We warned you at least!" Breanna said and we all laughed, they told us before we started eating that Megs was the only one with cooking skills. "How about we watch a movie?" Kevin asked. "Sounds good. I'll go make popcorn." Lizzy said. "NO!" Kevin and I yelled at the same time. "I'll go make it." Kevin said before he went back into the kitchen. "Let's pick a movie then." Breanna said as she and Lizzy went to pick a movie. I turned on the TV to get it set up but the story on the news caught my eye, I don't know why though. "There was 4 car pile up in Downtown Toronto earlier today (A.N. remember Toronto is 3 hours ahead of L.A. so if it's dinner time in Toronto it's like lunch time in L.A.) No one was killed but 7 people were critically injured." the reporter said as they showed footage of the wreckage . "What are you watching?" Breanna asked walking into the room. "Shh." I said as the reporter started talking again. "Among the injured were Oscar winning actress, Megan McKay, and her rumoured pop star boyfriend, Nick Jonas. they were both taken to hospital earlier this evening but there is no word on their condition." the reporter said and my jaw dropped. "K-K-KEVIN!" I yelled as B started crying, I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her into my chest. "What is it Joe? What's wrong?" Kevin asked. "Once again, the leading story of today's news hour is the car crash in Downtown Toronto that left 7 people in critical condition, including 17 year old, Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers and 16 year old, Oscar winning actress, Megan McKay." the reporter repeated and Kevins eyes widened. "Oh my god." Lizzy said walking into the room. "We have to get to Toronto. NOW." I said sternly. "I'll book tickets, you guys pack." Kevin said. "Joe can you pack me some clothes?" he asked as the girls rushed to get the bags they packed to stay here with. "Sure, just get the tickets." I said before I ran up the stairs and took them two at a time. I can't believe Megs and Nick were in a car crash! I didn't even know they were in Toronto! I absent mindedly pack a bag for myself and grabbed some of Kevin's clothes for a bag for him. I came back down the stairs, the girls were already ready to go. I threw Kevin his bag, "Let's go." Kevin said and we all rushed out the door.
