  • HILARY and BILL and BammyWhappt with Moo-sheHelle cookin' grits?

WOW! Now it makes sense .....

  • This production was GHASTLY! I saw it. Disguising the witches as the children from the film "Village Of The Damned" (Dir: Wolf Rilla,1960) was corny. Musically SUPERB though, especially Roberto Scandiuzzi as Banco, even though this role is small. Scandiuzzi's pianissimo cut right through everything else.

  • Merd.

  • BRILLIANT VISUALS! Totally enhancing Verdi's score!

  • This woman would have never left comprimario roles if she had the lookings of Ewa Podlés.

  • @venetianformula I have never heard her (I don't think there is a recording on YouTube?) but she's singing Lady Macbeth at the Met next season, really wondering how that's gonna go, after Ghulegina did it a few years ago, and not very much to my liking.

  • langweilig

  • Lady MacBeth is one of the most demanding soprano roles in all of opera. I'm sorry, but she's not up to performing this role. Wabbly voice, way too much vibrato, horribly off pitch. Zva26 heard the same performance that I did. Did you not notice how out of tune she was? You poor thing. The performance was embarrassing. Maybe she can grow into the role, but I am skeptical. She's going to ruin her voice with so much high pitched screaming and screeching.

  • Just saw her Lady Macbeth in Chicago. Pure electricity!

  • Oddly enough, Lady Macbeth reminds me of Lady GaGa here 1:55. But that's not undermining her ability.
