The sample that Diamond D used is called "Sparkling In The Sand" and it was originally performed by The Bits N' Pieces solo flute by Mr. Ray Naluz released in 1970 from the Phillipines. However Diamond D looped this same sample from the Tower Of Power's version of Sparkling In The Sand with the vocals of Rick Stevens and the similarities are quite astounding. Nevertheless a classic tune implemented with the Skull Snaps "It's A New Day" sample as a brilliant composition of a productive genius.
