@JaymezSPCM they dont make 50 i know plenty of people with saturns all the sl2s get 32-40mpg and i know one person with an sw1 who babies it and it gets 40 on the highway. saturns are good cars but you need a geo for 50+ lol

@sm0ky40 Uhhh, they already MAKE 50 mpg. My 1996 Sc2 (5spd) with 147,000 miles, gets that easy doing 80 on the interstate. And I still get about 43-45 in the city, with a heavy foot. Try agan.
Oh, and HHO generators are a lie.

its the chain they dont have a timing belt no s series has a timing belt they all have chains and yes thats what that sound is they all make it...it only gets louder if you start to hear it than the chain is on its way out!!!
but any saturn s series 1990 - 1994 is a great investment personally i used to own a 93 sc2 i suggest if ever owning one u put a 2g valve cover on it the 1g leak oil bad because there are 2 bolt holes in the back unlike the head having 3 like the 2nd gens cover

r u sure its the valvetrain? my 99 makes a similar noise, but im 100% sure its the belt...or i guess it could be the timing chain, but i dont think so

It's just to show that the car performs period. It's just to demonstrate it's not a lemon. and I'm both happy, and sad to say that it did sell :) :(. I'll miss this cool little car. I had a lot of adventures in it.
