Tai Situ teaches beyond words. When we finally get it we don't have to discuss anymore, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. We are all Buddhas, even if we don't know it.

Not quite right! What I see and you see are colour and form, our consciousness is common to all humans. What you think and I thought i

@mrcalm lol which one am I in the koan?

@MrMansson10 you remind me of a Koan: Gutei raised his finger whenever he was asked a question about Zen. A boy attendant began to imitate him in this way. When anyone asked the boy what his master had preached about, the boy would raise his finger. Gutei heard about the boy's mischief. He seized him and cut off his finger. The boy cried and ran away. Gutei called and stopped him. When the boy turned his head to Gutei, Gutei raised up his own finger. In that instant the boy was enlightened.

@MrCalmlikeaBomb That's crazy talk. Gravity isnt the creation of the mind, the word is the creation of the mind, but the thing itself is not. Gravity is that force that keeps you from floating up to the sky like a baloon with so much helium. Gravity is what makes an apple fall from the apple tree. Gravity is that thing that makes one fall after tripping. Gravity IS independant of the mind.

@rationalpower Prove the existence of gravity without your mind and its faculties and lemme know what ya come up with. :)
... when a bone is shining like a diamond you know - you are a dog ...
... when a diamond is shining like a diamond - you know you are a woman ...
... when everything and nothing is shining like a diamond - you know you are a buddha ...

"All phenomena are illusory displays of the mind.
The mind is no mind, as the nature of the mind is empty.
It is empty, yet it is unceasing and unimpeded, manifesting as everything whatsoever.
Through careful observation, may the root be cut through.
Appearances have no true existence,
seeing self-manifestation as objects is illusory.
Because of ignorance, self-awareness is mistaken as "I".
Because of dualistic fixation, beings wander in samsara."

Nice discussion ... I love it ... :)
I guess the question is: shall we believe in anything and why...
The Christian answer is 'YES - we have to believe'
The Buddhist answer is: 'NO - instead we should give up our false believes: our believe in 'the world out there' and in our own 'I' ...
But let's go with the Christian way - let's believe in GOD - who is omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent ... allmighty - so he/she is beyond all limits and beyond all imagination ... how can I believe in him/her
