On July 13, 2010, Fox News' Megyn Kelly conducted an interview with John Fund of the Wall Street Journal reporting on Minnesota Majority's report of felons voting in the 2008 general election.
@jcfan42 Finally, this is the last post of 4 addressed 2 u jcfan42, please read them in order. I just find it so unfortunate how quickly we jump to conclusions about people. U made a comment about guessing u should let people rape & murder your family & that is so far from what i said or what my argument is. Again u use a slippery slope fallacy which to a logical, rational thinker your arguments are completely invalid and irrational. Open your eyes & turn off the stupid tube.
@jcfan42 2nd, u say "norms" seemingly unaware that those norms could change & they those individuals would no longer be felons, yet you are so quick to cast them in with the murders and violent rapist. Tell me, is that what Jesus would do "jcfan"? You are so blinded by the BS that u see on FOX news u dont even realize it. 70 years ago it was illegal for an interracial marriage, according to ur ideologies, those damn felons should not be allowed to vote because they will vote 2 make rape legal
@jcfan42 Seriously? 1st, who r "these people?" I imagine u are talking about felons, but felons of what degree? The ones that press buttons on a computer and illegally wire thousands of dollars to an off shore account? Or the BF/GF that have been dating since they were 14/16yo & the boy turns 18 and the parents press rape charges and he is a sex offender (felon) now? It is not just black and white lines. you can not group these people with murders and violent rapist and that is what u are doing.
@jcfan42 Unfortunately u are committing a hasty generalization fallacy, like most of us do when we apply labels to people. I am fully aware that there is a vast difference in minor violation & those that commit murder (BTW, how many murders have you encountered in your life that are walking the streets?) Ur ignorant comment about letting people rape & murder your family is a scare tactic, which obviously worked on u! Ur reply 2 me is so fallacious it is scary, this is what is wrong w/ America
These people have been disallowed from voting because they are so outside the "norms" that it is potentially in their interest to repeal laws for rape and murder so that they can do it again.

@eimajism Seems close. What then makes you the arbiter of rationality then if you are so tolerant?

@eimajism Now you have merged my separate arguments.

@eimajism You know where I draw the lines, this is preposterous.

@eimajism Actually, I do not watch Fox News, and while some norms should change others should not.
