lol wow that was a twist. that happened on my FIRST skydive. and it wasn't tandem. nothing to worry about. you just untwist it.

@RobertJAnderson Makes 0 difference in this case. At all. This was a teenager jumping for the first time. I can't imagine a worse time for ANYTHING to happen, even a simple line twist. Everyone stayed calm and cool, instructor got it untwisted, no problems at all. Bravo to both of them.
Even the simple things can be horrific when you're in the air.

that's not tangled, it was a simple line twist. not a big deal, especially at 5000 ft.

Was that a twist caused by the packer when he put the bag in the container? - Hopefully this was uploaded by the instructor. I just started packing about a month ago and I've been researching bad pack jobs and what the result is.
