CTN in Sierra Leone is the newest project of Fondation Hirondelle, Media for Peace and Human Dignity, a global nonprofit based in Lausanne, Switzerland. Fondation Hirondelle builds and supports quality media in crisis zones and post-conflict situations. We strive to build media that are trustworthy, relevant, enjoyable and, above all, credible. We received the 2003 Henry Dunant Award for outstanding activities in crisis-ridden areas. Most of our projects focus on creating independent radio stations offering news and information on a nation-wide basis. A main focus is providing excellent election coverage, including on-air forums where the public can debate issues key to national and local elections.
Very interesting.
