@1989WOX look at this american video "Taliban dying! Artillery fire in Afghanistan (Pech river Valley)" they are using cranks to manipulate the artillery . it s not automatic at all .
-
@1989WOX ok proove us that an american truck gun 155 mn needs nobody to reload ! the french 155 mn is automatic . i have seen american gun in afghanistan they are still using cranks to manipulate the gun and reload manuelly
-
'
come on america,,,
america can make it many trucks with 155MM gun
-
@7Kronos "How do you reload if you stay in the truck idiot" AAAAHAHAH :D in what century do u live ?!? do u know that colour TV is invented ?!!? :D
-
@1989WOX of course yeah in disney world maybe. How do you reload if you stay in the truck idiot. Caesar is the fastest artillery in deployment, it is fully automated, receives coordonnates automaticaly, with manual override if needed. The Caesar is so fast that when rounds hit the targets, it already left the area.
-
Nope, he is fully automatized in terms of targeting and firing. It can be operated by only 2 soldiers, but standard french artillery unit are 4 mens.
-
omg this is soo much manual artillery... it need 4 crew to operate... all modern sistems can be operated by 2 soldiers and they dont even need to get out of the truck...
-
@winphet well i have to admit you got a good point.

Only on a rate of fire, Archer is better, in others Caesar is :
-less mechanisms, less failures
-more men who can replace an other, not a mechanism
-possibility of continuous shooting for Caesar, Archer once emptied its magazine need to recharge (during this time it's not operational).
-ability to climb more better for Caesar cause mass better distributed than the Archer (on the 2 extremities). Some pb when climbing or an extremity blocked.
-best inclination of fire for Caesar
-
@astrialkil Oh man, you are a saver. I don't think anyone involved in its developpments thought what you said. I GOT TO FORWARD your genius arguments, the french army needs to know !!!
