Based on the text "We Talk, You Listen" written by Vine Deloria Jr, this 5-minute look at Deloria Jr.'s main ideas shows how the media has turned Native Americans into their own idealistic characters that everyone seems to believe and follow without question.
Good job kids, :) you actually put a tear in my eye, when the young man was thrown out and didn't get what he was promised. So many times I've been put in that position, all of my family has and all native people period have. Thank you.

Sorry kids, I understand the intent for the video. As a teacher of media and filmmaker myself I would have pushed for you to have a clearer message as well as finding a Native person to play the role. I blame the teacher for not guiding you on the process, and not having you do enough research on the topic. You also may have wanted to explain more about what the class assignment was about.

This is an awful short film. I am extremely offended! Whoever allowed you to post this or assigned this project is an awful teacher. Absolutely disrespectful of Native American culture. This is my Great Uncle and you are twisting his words and I know he would not be impressed about the level of your ignorance!

so true the part about how the media tries to portray us native people. its horrible. that should be an arguement for all native american indians to learn their rights as people in the united states of america so that they can sue movie makers etc who don't feel they should play by the rules.
