Western Pennsylvania has become a haven for peregrine falcons, which almost became extinct decades ago. As the Pittsburgh area has cleaned up its act, more falcons are establishing nests -- and producing more falcons -- in the region. Beth Fife, state wildlife conservation officer, and Todd Katzner, a researcher with the National Aviary, explain why.
