Fake or not... everybody, children and adult people, believed that, and was a BEAUTIFUL visual effect that chilled everybody in the world. The best lightning in the history :)))

I'm a Catalan from Barcelona, and this day I was 12 years old. I was in the stadium with my parents, and I remember the incredible silence in the stadium when the arrow fly by to the cauldron (anybody knows before what kind of lighting they gona do, it was a secret)... when I remember that I have always chills. It was very simple, but pure and brilliant. Maybe it was a fake, but I think that this is secondary.

I agree, even though it was fake, who cares. It was dramatic it was theatrical, it was amazing.

Who cares if the torch lighting was fake.....Billions around the world saw it light as we see it light in this video....and it was awesome!!!
