Installing broadcom bcm43xx wireless drivers on Slackware

Broadcom's Wireless drivers have a restrictive license that keeps some distributions from making it available in the default install. Here is how you can get the drivers from Broadcoms site and install them yourself.
The cards with the following PCI Device IDs are supported with this driver.
Both Broadcom and and Dell product names are described. Cards not listed
here may also work.
