  • Why do Republicans want to drag out health care? I will tell you why.

Because they want to drag it out as close to the November elections as possible so that they can use it as a talking point in their campaigns. It doesn't take a dumb ass to figure that one out.

Well Obama was smart enough to out them on the tactic and now it will be addressed with or without their assistance.

The conservatives have repeatedly been given the opportunity to "put up or shut up." It is time to shut up.

  • To kingx989. Man you hit the nail right on the head! American government can't be trusted since it does not care or represent the people. Which means there is no democracy in USA. Man you are a genius! I do pity you because you must have a HELL of a worry about getting health-care unless U R a millionaire. I don't pay a cent when I have to take one of my 5 kids to ER.

  • Obama never inteneded to restart the healthcare bill and anyway if he did restart the bill who could trust him that one of his Dem, Sen, wouldn't sneak something in there

  • YES to healthcare reform! NO to government healthcare reform!!!!!! A government doesn't get involved with private healthcare unless theres special interests and benefits to government. If it fails, Pelosi wont cry, Obamma wont cry, but we the people will be left hurting and stuck with the end results. There are also not enough docs in this country for every individual to have the proper, preventative, medical care they will need. This will lead to a need to end the lives of the sick early.

  • whats so simple-minded about leaving my healthcare for me to worry about? And why does government have to complicate healthcare? How will healthcare "help" government? It won't! There's no reason a government should think about getting involved in private healthcare unless its in the interest of the government. Otherwise, there should be no direct benefit to the government... thats why it looks bad when the government tries to ram this "healthcare" bill through without proper review.

  • PUBLIC OPTION

  • The only answers are to found in the Constitution. Government needs to get the hell out of business. They have a proven track record of failure. How many states are either bankrupt, or, will be in a few years? Tax increase reduce commerce. The more money folk's are allowed to keep, the more they spend. Cash flow drives innovation and discovery. Taxes feed the Government, and, the lackies that prefer nannydom over freedom

  • Decentralized thats the problem it is centralized. The only laws that we need is that a cap be put on hospital fees and libel law suits against DRs.Explain yourself on decentralized.

  • no the country is not too big nor decentralized nor too complicated ... its just that the gop congressmen and senators are scheming greedy lots.

scheming to delay the hc plan obviously.

  • I saved a bunch of money by switching to Geico.
