I'm about to re-open a can of bad worms, but I will once again voice my own opinion. I was there at the concerts, and saw, Wild Child, performed in 1990. Really great song. But this version, WTF! I find a total insult. This Fongriser dude could never begin to compare with my friend, Denny Carmassi, who is one of the best drummers to ever set down to a set of drums. I can't believe Heart would do this to one of their best hard rock song. ?????? Unreal.

This was one of the few songs Heart did during this period that would stand up against their old stuff (almost). I wish they would work it into their current set.

ann was happy with bad animals but not the constant critique about her weight. it was 1990 and brigade when she got sick of the business.

@The096757 Brigade for most fans was just too soft. The difference from 1985's "Heart" to "Brigade" was night and day, from pop rock, but still rock, to this powdery sound. But they weren't really in control of their band at this point, and this is what the record execs thought we wanted to hear so they did what they could with what they were given.

can't understand why heart sounded so lackluster on brigade. it had to be the producer and too many bad choices for songs.
