Free Tibet! チベット人の独立・自由を支援する緊急抗議行動

A demonstration in Tokyo by the Japanese in support of freedom and independence of Tibetan people.
These Japanese protest aggression, oppression and slaughter by the Chinese Communist Party.
And they present doubt in the Olympics being held in Beijing.
The day (Mar.20, 2008) was cold and rainy. Nevertheless a lot of people gathered in order to raise a voice of justice.

Chinese government have been blaming Japan for last 60 years in order to make the world believe that China was one-sided victim.

As Chairman Mao said "A lie repeated a hundred times becomes the truth", it seems they have almost achieved the plot.

The largest propaganda machine in the world attacks Tibet as well.

China is spreading words (including so many lies) slandering culture and the history of Tibet in order to delegitimize Tibetan's wish for human rights and nationhood.

In China, the internet is being heavily censored.

Cartoon police icons now warn many of China's 210 million internet users to stay away from "illegal" websites. These virtual police appear to encourage self-censorship by reminding users that the authorities closely monitor web activity. China is also believed to operate the most extensive, technologically sophisticated and broad-reaching system of internet censorship and filtering in the world.

Over the past several decades, these official viewpoints have been instilled in the Chinese people by means of large scale propaganda campaigns waged by the Beijing and Taiwan governments. As a result of this brainwashing, the majority of the Chinese people have lost the ability to discover the truth. However, through a brief review of Chinese history, we can clearly see that Tibet was never a part of China until it was invaded and occupied by China in the 1950s.

Hundreds of people have been detained in response to the unrest. They could face torture and other ill-treatment by China's security forces, especially those accused of "separatist" activities.

The near total media black-out on Tibet and the surrounding areas has not only made it difficult to confirm reports, but is a betrayal of official promises to ensure "complete media freedom" in the run-up to the Olympics.
