These plants are really hardy. When I was a teenager, I got a catnip plant for the cat I had at the time. It had been ignored for nearly 20 years. (the plant, not the cat) I got a new cat recently so I went out to where the plant was to see if it was still growing. After two decades of no care for the plant whatsoever, I found it still growing and was able to harvest some leaves to dry for my new cat.

hi. It is the actual catnip plant. I bought it at the garden shop where they sell the herbs, like parsley & oregano. I bought it as a tiny "starter" plant & it grows very well & easy. Jasmine LOVES it. She loves to roll in it & cover herself with the scent. I didn't expect it to come back this season but it did.
