Just because someone found it through a TV show doesn't devalue their experience of listening to the song, because good music is good music no matter what, and it doesn't matter how it's found. Honestly, would you say you can't truly appreciate a song just because a friend told you about it? And whats so different about a friend showing it to you, and a TV series showing it to you? Either way you are experiencing it, and I dont see how the method of finding it relates to listening
