@TheTvstuff When You Believe won an Oscar for Best Original Song, but the award goes to the songwriter, not the singer, and Mariah didn't write or co-write the song, so she didn't win an Oscar.

@Chimier because they wrote it before they knew it was meant for mariah. and it's so funny that when you believe won and i don't wanna miss a thing lost. because my brother always used to say it's one of the most beautiful songs ever and i told him about when you believe and he didn't think it was better and then i found out it lost to when you believe and i could have a laugh at my brother haha
