Really good question and not to start a political debate but wind power in Texas cost more than standard electric rates, however its because of greed that it is so, in many countries like Canary Islands where they have wind power, electricity is like 10 bucks a month compared to the same here for 2 family household costing $200 a month, now explain that to me. It's the same b.s. why drug companies charge more for the same drug here in the US compared to mexico.
