WA Rally to Protect our Future

Hundreds gathered at the WA State Capitol in Olympia to tell legislators to STOP THE CUTS that are hurting our citizens and get corporate interests too pay their fair share. Community groups, labor, religious groups delivered a letter to the Governor's office to demand they come up with a budget that is not built on the backs of the workers in the state, the poor, disabled or immigrant communities. This is what democracy looks like. Washington will not look like Wisconsin

WA State = democrats destroyed this State's future. And the voter rolls are corrupt with illegal voters. All under dim watch. Just another day of dim grifters in unions insisting the rest of us pay for their padded pension lifestyle. And that included dropping dead at work at age 89 to keep it going!

@memama2 Half of the country pay NO taxes. 43 million are on food stamps. Social security, medicare are about to go bankrupt. The debt is $14.3 trillion. The annual deficit is $1.6 trillion. Almost every state can't balance it's budget because of excessive union contracts. California is bankrupt;New York is bankrupt etc, etc, The sense of entitlement and freeloading is totally out of control. Don't they get it? We need to change.

We are just a couple of steps away from Greece, Portugal and other European "social democracies" that are imploding as we speak. biggerturtle = I GOT BOOTED/BLOCKED OFF THE "WADOT" .....YouTube videos! why? Because I asked them why my neighbor used the WA State DOT truck for his personal transportation everyday! And came home by 12 - 2pm and used the $4.00 tax payer funded gas that WA State taxpayers were paying for? The truck sits for 9+ days every time the DOT worker is on vacation. And the guy is home and waxing his motorcycle by noon. GREAT JOB if you can game the system. Seen any "early bird" DOT trucks near you?

Hired into a public pension.$ome of the retired pension workers: get 100% PERCENT of the monthly pay they were getting = IN A MONTHLY PEN$ION NOW! the rest? ...get around 56+ percent of their highest pay converted to monthly retirement pension & they can still get Social Security!UNREAL!!
