i don't care much for bar chords. i don't have the finger strength to make them ring the way they need to.

Sometimes you have to let the open strings ring. I like playing bar chords, but they dont ring as well.

i love chord variations.
in my guitar lessons, i swear by teaching variations and capo usage. i even go far as to recommend a capo as standard class supply.

I like about 20% of christian music
and they're good. and awesome skills too.

i wonder if King David played the harp this good. don't you think this pleases God, them using their talent to praise Him? He's probably a pretty proud Father. it makes me smile and i don't have anything to do with it

"...good musician means you know musical theory"? I'm sorry but you're wrong.
Musician = "One who composes, conducts, or performs music, especially instrumental music.".
As you can see, the definition of a musician is not someone who has to know Music Theory. What about people in countries that don't have access to the same kind of education? Are you saying they can only at best be regarded as good players of musical instruments?
