@purplelambo95 im 11 too but if i would have to get my tonsil removed, i would say " Hell no!!" lol

i was 125 pounds now after 7 days

that can't have been comfortable. how long had he been sick for? they were the size of golf balls

u can eat and drink it just hurts really bad.

yeah i cried on the 7th and 8th day after the surgery i don`t remmeber anything about the first like 3 or 4 days of it for some reason.

really i did to but i am ten,did not puke at all,cried alot from pain,and ate a quarter of my moms cookie dough!lol

not tryin to be mean but it's probably different for everyone and i got them out october 12, 2009 soo u know im already healed and stuff so u know to me, it sucked that one moday every time i got up and walked around or sat up so dont be tellin me it sucks the most on the 8th-11 days because i went through what i went through and i know wat the hell it felt like

Well he was high after wards. It might suck for the first day or two but you will so much better in the long run. I had mine out when I was 9 I remember it well.

I am so glad people like you are making videos on this. My son is getting his tonsils and adnoids out on Tuesday. I am very nervous!! He also has Autism so I can't really explain what's happening and why he's in pain, etc. How much pain was your son in after the surgery? I know your video said 3 weeks later ready to go..but how soon after the surgery was he up and about, out of the house, back to school, etc. Sorry for all the questions. Your video did help so thank you.

he was in alot of pain, for a about a week, no talking and not eating very much, then it got worse, for a couple days, when the scab at the back starts to fall of it's a white color. He wasn't back to school for about 10 days might have been 2 weeks, when he did go back he couldn't do gym class or run around for a week. I'm glad to hear my video helped out. I was hoping it would help out other kids and parents.

He was happy after, but he was in pain and didn't really talk for a week.
