A song I wrote about bullshit.
Lyrics:
walk along the street
i see a poster
it's bullshit
walk through the mall and look into the stores
all bullshit
i walk past the parliament, reading a paper
full of bullshit
i turn on the radio accidently
and it fills my ears with bullshit
what do you see, when you look at our society?
faces hang low and i know
we thought it was great we thought we'd change the world
and everybody died inside
so how shallow do you feel? does the water even reach your ankles?
i'd be surprised if you even have a pulse
grease back your hair, read a trendy book, buy an image from your store of choice
rebel against your parents just like your parents did
complain a lot about nothing and say nothing about something
freedoms? you have all you need.
be ignorant, be informed, be clever, be stupid
it's all bullshit
and it'll get us nowhere
politically, we're a mess. we follow the will of people who care about 2 things: power, and money.
they claim to act on our behalf, but they're really just oiling a machine in which you are a cog
financially, we're okay, as long as we milk the goat known as the third world, in exchange for a bit of grain. you don't want your goat to die on you.
culturally, we like to call ourselves magnificent, and relish in the creativity of geniuses like mozart, bach, vanilla ice, the spice girls, and me
and factually we destroy ourselves, we destroy the species around us, the world around us is drowning
in bullshit
another very different tune then your usual wob.
especially with those weird vocal sounds lingering in the background.
