This film was produced while I was on active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving as the Audio Video Capabilities Chief at the Combat Camera Instructional Media Center aboard Camp Johnson, NC. The film was produced to teach Marines about the history of SgtMaj Johnson and the Camp named after him. Historical images for this piece were provided courtesy of the Montford Point Musuem. The film was directed by Mrs. Debbie Pearon, narrated by MGySgt Harris, intro and outro animations by Roman Gray, SgtMaj Johnson illustration by Tony Lopez, outro voice over by Jaime Rodriguez, motion picture photography by Eric Alabiso, Sean D. McLean, and Gabriel Sotelo, edited by SDM.
This film was submitted and placed third in the editing category of the Visual Information Awards Program (V.I.A.P.).
