Of course if you put a Fido Sim in a Rogers phone it'll work, they're the same carrier, there's no unlocking required. Any schmuck can swap out a sim card.

ok i tried upgrading my iphone from itunes, but then it gets locked and has a pineapple on it and wont get past the starting screen. so i took it to this guy who fixed it but now i cant upgrade the phone or it will do the same thing again. why is this?

@VampMovie1 I actually did end up unlocking it! I took it to this place that charged me about $20-30 to unlock it. It worked did work. Apparently now you can get a gevey sim card that can unlock your phone automatically without having to go through a long process like I did. Either way It is possible for you to unlock your phone. No worries!
