Buspirone did not work well for me. I did not find it effective for my needs. A low dose of Xanax was far more effective.

buspirone taken with food increases levels of buspirone in the system.
Can buspirone cause anxiety and panick?
it worked for me at first but then drove me insane, I reduced dose and feel better, any thoughts?

It sent me into a spiraling depression that ended with me being committed to a mental hospital...of course...I was also an undiagnosed bipolar at the time.

does the dizziness side go away after prolonged use or will this be a daily part of the medication? i cannot work with this side effect

If you take it every day the dizziness/drowsiness/uncoordination should go away in a couple weeks. If not, let your doctor know and he/she can change the medication to something else.
