The Parker combined bands performing Music for a Darkened Theater, a medley of songs by Danny Elfman arranged by Michael Brown. May 11, 2009.
The video you see was projected onto the walls of the auditorium during the performance.
From the program insert:
"Music for a Darkened Theater is from several film scores written by a masterful craftsman named Danny Elfman. Elfman had his start in rock and roll as a member of the group Oingo Boingo. He began his film career in 1985 with the music for Tim Burtons Pee Wees Big Adventure. Since then he has created music for nearly all of director Tim Burtons movies as well as a huge list of other famous movies and television shows including the Simpsons, Desperate Housewives, and Mission: Impossible. His list of credits is impressive and too long to list here. In this arrangement you will hear music from Tales from the Crypt, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice, and Spiderman."
