Hi, you mentioned you live in the university are. Are you talking about Postech? I'm planning to join a PhD program there and I was searching for accommodation nearby.

@romero2g4u I was almost going to argue with you over that until he turned around in the center of the room. That was a very small room indeed.

Well, err.. 550 bucks a month seems a bit too much to me, but 50$ for the water+el.+cable is quite fine. I suppose it's an expensive quarter.
I guess that if you share an apartment with other people it'd be way cheaper (at least I hope so kk)

yah $550 is a bit high even for the university area (Hanyangdae/Wangsimni). I plan on moving to Hongdae or Itaewon in a couple months and should be able to get a decent 2-3 bdrm with a friend for about $800/month.

Kewl. By all means a bit small, but really cosy, clean and fresh. Maybe it'd be nice if we could take a look from the window. I wonder how much it costs per month will all the expenses? Otherwise, I like almost everything (except for the shower position that is quite "strangey") +_+

Rent is 550,000 won/month (about $550 US) ends up being around $600 after water, electric and cable. outside the window is just another building, not much of a view :/ and yes the shower is a bit wierd but you get used to it.

so that white box you control the heat with, you need it in order to control the temperature of the water in the bathroom (sink and shower head)?

it controls the bathroom water (sink and shower head are connected) and floor temp (heater for winter). The kitchen sink is automatically heated in my place. Not sure if this is typical but it seems like it.
