This is VERY heartwarming for me. My parents (lucky folks) had a chance to see DBQ in concert and in the post-concert jam session in Krakow, in 1958. I hear about that "wild applause" even today. We love DBQ. "Dziekuje."

This must have been just before Gene Wright joined the quartet. He did join them in 1958, just before they recorded and released Take 5 in 1959.
