This is a quick overview of how I scan for some of my potential trade setups using www.finviz.com to look for stocks in strong sectors that have the potential for quick upside moves. Also, this process can be reversed for potential short candidates. Courtesy of www.marketaddiction.net

  • very good tips. Thanks. It solve one of my problem witch is to find where the money is going....

  • Volume does really matter if you day trade and need high liquidity stocks to trade (to be able to get in and out of positions quickly). With light volume stocks that might be problematic

  • "That's just way too light a volume for me"

Why does the volume matter and how important is it in your decision making process?

I'm just getting started in investing in stocks.
