The 800 is basically a scaled down 5k if you look at it ...
And a 49er is beyond a LOT of peoples skill .. Not ignoring the fact a 5k can be had for £1500 with reasonable sails and foils ... and a 49er is about £5000 or more for a tacky 2nd hand one!!

Hey man, you are spoiled in Oz. This was the first skiff in Ottawa - it was here before the B3's and other I14s. You are probably talking about a B14, but I'm sure the SwiftSolo you are building will be at about the same performance.
How's the build coming - ready to get it wet?
