Jesus Christ Tells Us How To Pray - The Lord's Prayer

Jesus describes GOD as "Our Father", a revolutionary new way to look at GOD that makes HIM easier for us to understand. A good parent would never forsake a child, even though the child was imperfect. How much better is GOD than a mortal parent so we can be assured that HE will never forsake us even though we are imperfect.

You are an integral and unique part of the universe. Just as important a part as any other part. There is no one else exactly like you. No one else has your fingerprints, your exact DNA, your exact thoughts or dreams. You are connected to everything and everything you do affects the rest of creation. Try to make the universe a better place.

MATTHEW 6:10-14 This, then, is how you should pray: "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one." For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

LUKE 11:2-4 He said to them, When you pray, say: Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come.
Give us each day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation.

TRADITIONAL VERSION
"Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
