Well you could look into some of Pentax's old prime lenses. But there are plenty of cheap K-mount lenses that will fit this camera not made by Pentax also.

Been using it for awhile with the kit lens, its an awesome camera but i haven't got around to buying any other lenses for it. Any suggestions? an all around good lens would be good, can't afford to buy multiple lenses at the moment.

I think the grain in the pictures has more of a film look.

@fallenembers08 Actually the feature of having a locked mode dial very useful. It helps in avoiding the accidental change of mode.

You get used to it very fast. IMO you're just nitpicking because this is a totally awesome camera :P

im getting one like that soon and im going to make some stop motion with it is that good or bad?

The only thing i dont like about this camera, is that you have to push that center button to turn the mode dial... D:

Even with the release of the K-5, im still a big fan of the K-7. Its a pro at what it does and is still advanced when compared to many canikons.
