  • How did you take the fairing off? I just got one and I want to get rid of the fairing. Was it difficult/did you need to buy anything extra?

  • @rkbhatia118 There is a bracket that the fairing sits on. You can remove the fairing from it, then there are (4) clamps that hold the bracket to the bike. You will need what most people call headlight ears, they are chrome pieces that go on the forks that hold the headlight bucket in place. So you'll possibly need the headlight bucket as well. Try to use the bucket from the fairing first though.

  • awesome sound! what exhaust do you have on it?

  • Not sure what brand it is. The exhaust has been on there since I bought the bike a year ago.

  • It's cool, pretty decent guy. You have to paint the Vetter though to match better guy! That Blue on the 2 tone is well ..... yeah, that's it. Hey, where's the side cover emblems? Nice Stereo cover. See you at the CB900CB1000 club at Yahoo.

  • Pat, thanks for the comment. I've since taken the fairing and saddle bags off. I think she looks better without the extra baggage.

  • flaco , si tenes dignidad, aunque sea un poquito.prendela fuego

  • i just restored one. i like it so far

  • i have this bike same year and all. stock carbs suck. new ones. baffles off. awesome bike. halls ass!

  • You have to repaint that blue faring man. It not helping the looks of that classic bike. Nice Vetter trunk & bags, bulky but cool. Vetter made some cool stuff, but they are long gone. See you at the Yahoo cb900cb1000 club site

  • Just FYI ... 265 watt charging system WILL NOT support all your electrical wishes. Small battery and charging system, was not designed as a touring bike like the Wing. I have fog & driving light on mine. If both light sets are on & the 260 watt stereo, she won't even keep up on the road, losing voltage! You know when the stereo stops poiunding (the Stereo light starts to fade with the beat) that you need to turn things off. Great bike, have 65K on mine, still going strong,

  • yup i have 3 of these. 2 are for sale and the third is all mine. i plan to make it just like yours but with 4 fog lights and seat and grip heaters and painted white.

where did you get the radio? or did it come with the vetter fairing or you just bought the entire bike used already like this

  • if you deside to sell the the fairing and addle bags send me a comment or something i am trying to find thus stuff for mine

  • There's nothing to it. Get a 4-channel manometer and a carb adjustment tool (both available from Motion Pro), and follow the instructions. If you can plug in a hose and read a thermometer when you have a fever, you can sync carbs. I just did mine (I also have a CB900C), and it only took me about 20 minutes. It made a great deal of difference.
